Good afternoon In Fine Fettle readers!
Hope you are all off to an amazing Friday and that you wished all the fathers out their happiness on their special day! Even though I had to work my 12.5 hour shift Sunday, luckily I was still able to celebrate this special man with what little of the day we had left.
The older I get I am learning it’s not always about the length of time spent together that’s most important but rather the intentionality of the time spent together.
If you follow my on Instagram ( link here) you know I have been trying to make more of an effort to get you guys a workout at least once a week! I am praying I can stick with this and that you guys help keep me accountable to doing it lol.

Everything in moderation… EVEN moderation itself.
Instead of focusing so much on dieting and eating “healthy” or “less” try to focus on eating more balanced. Have the dessert, the candy but remember to try and have it in moderation!
Mentally planning and structuring your meals in the morning depending on what type of day you’re going to have really has helped me to stay balanced!
If you know you’re going to be eating a big dinner, try eating a smaller lunch. Also, remember that even if you are eating out there are always healthier options on the menu to choose from.
Same thing goes with exercise, believe it or not you CAN overdue it and become so consumed in it as well. God encourages us to take care of ourselves but remember to seek Him first and keep your focus on Him.
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
