there’s a war between GUILT and GRACE⠀

and there fighting for a sacred space⠀

but Im living proof… GRACE wins every time.⠀

This picture was taken post church, 20 min worship jam sesh and 2 mile run. Yes… all in the same outfit.⠀

Life has been kicking my butt and I am EXHAUSTED. Mentally and spiritually. These days I’ve been questioning whether I’ll be able to even make it through today. I am weak, I am worn and my heart feels HEAVY. Being Christian was never meant to be easy.

I’ll be the first to stand up and say that just living is exhausting.

Think about constantly being at WAR with someone so manipulative and dedicated only to make you feel like a failure, like less than what you really are. Make you feel like you aren’t good enough and you don’t deserve anything. He wants nothing more than to turn us away from Gods grace and Gods peace…

It’s a war that’s not with flesh and blood and you can’t even see the battle taking place but oh boy can you FEEL it happening!

I just wanted to share with you guys that it’s okay to not be okay all the time. Because in life, as a Christian… it’s not all sunshine and roses! It’s hard! But today I am making the stance that I won’t let him win today and neither should you!⠀

Today’s sermon we talked about the love it must take for someone to give up there only son to DIE for the sins of the world. Jesus came for a purpose to SEEK and to SAVE.ñ so don’t ever underestimate or forget the price that’s been paid for YOU. For God to be able to call you into His loving arms, to bring you HOME one day when He’s ready for you.

I use to pride myself on being a “tough girl” but now I relate to what Paul says in

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

“…’My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in WEAKNESS’ therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness, so Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why for Christ’s sake, I DELIGHT in weakness, insults, in hardships, persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am WEAK then I am STRONG.” Praise God for never giving me anything more than I can handle, for at the end of the day I know that I am ALWAYS blessed.
