Spring Breakin’ or Spring Broken?

Ever pretend like you have everything together and you’re not struggling with anything because…. Well, because why?

Because you feel like a failure when you admit to having struggles? Do you talk yourself to believing that nobody cares about your issues so you’re better off just keeping them to yourself? Guys, does it make you feel like less of a man? Girls, does it make you feel weak? Do you hate even the thought of someone seeing the vulnerable side of you?

Or are you like me, occasionally all the above.

Coming back to school with 2 exams, a long checklist of things I need to complete for nursing school, and a big project due right after a week in North Carolina was so overwhelming. But I made it through and got it done but of course… with the expense of something.

Tonight, I am exhausted. I am sick (again). And I felt father from God this past week than I have in a long time and let me just tell you that there is really not a worst feeling to have.

The best thing about having a relationship with God is also considerably the hardest thing to realize at times too.

What makes your relationship with God different then any other relationship you encounter in this life //


Why is that hard to realize at times // 

Because every single time you feel that distance with God it is YOU that moved away, never Him. God will stand at your door and knock (Revelations 3:20) but he will not come in unless you go and open the door for Him.

But with that being said, even when you move away God makes it so easy for you to move back in!

James 4:6

But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”

So here I was this weekend… humbling myself in front of my Heavenly Father. Reminding myself that I don’t have to live a life like I lived this past week, in complete chaos and stress trying to get everything done alone.

And now here I am today humbling myself in front of you all. Reminding you all that I am not perfect and that I have my own struggles too.

After all that though, I am officially back on the blog after a few weeks shut down period and I am so happy to be able to say that!

Since, I have been on spring break I have been slacking majorly with my health and fitness. I know some of you enjoyed the workout calendar I posted before on 25 Day Beach Bod Challenge,now I am looking to do some things similar to that. I am so ready to get back on a normal schedule and so excited to take things to the next level in these next 7 weeks. Be on the lookout next week for some new tools I am using to whoop myself and my body back in shape before summer starts and just creating a healthier and happier me!

The first steps I want you to take this week is to just be aware of:

(1) How you are treating your mind, body, and soul.

(2)What you’re putting in your body.

I want you to be in constant awareness of these things this week, asking yourself if you are happy with where you are at right now.
